How to purchase an image
Once you find an image you like, simply click or tap on it to open its detailed information page. From there, follow these simple steps:
- Click or tap on the checkbox of the image size you want to purchase.
- Click or tap on the ‘Add to cart’ button.
- You will be redirected to the checkout page. From this page, you can checkout, continue shopping, or view the cart.
- To complete the purchase, fill in the required fields, credit card information, and click or tap on the ‘Place order’ button.
- Upon successful processing, you will see the checkout page with a summary of the transaction and the ‘Download’ button. The text on the download button will be the item description you ordered. Click or tap on this button to download the image to your device. If you do not download your purchase from this button, you can download it from an email that you will receive. However, it is not recommended to download the image from the email. You can only download the image once, either from the checkout page summary or from the email. If you try to download the same image more than once, you will receive a message stating that you cannot do so.
What image size should I download?
Download the image size that will fit your project. You can make the image smaller without affecting the quality. Do not resize a JPG image to make it larger. Resizing a JPG file to a larger size can cause a significant loss of quality due to pixelation.
Where do I find my downloaded files?
Mobile Phones: Image files downloaded to mobile phones can be accessed using the phone’s Files App.
PCs: Image files downloaded to a PC usually go into the Downloads folder on the PC. If the download location was changed on your computer, then check that location. You can test where your downloaded image file goes by clicking on the ‘Download Test Image’ button below. Then search for the 241512.png image file.
Image file types
Image files that you download are either JPG or PNG files. JPG files do not have transparent backgrounds, so they will either have no background or a will have a white background. The PNG files you download will have a transparent background.
Image file sizes and resolutions
The images you see on this website are small and low-quality to allow the site to load more quickly. The images you actually download are high-resolution suitable for printing. Image resolutions are usually 300 or 350 dpi. Large high-res files can be quite big in size, so using a dial-up connection is not recommended.
What does Royalty-Free mean?
Royalty-Free means that you pay a one-time fee in exchange for the right to use copyrighted content according to the terms of the agreement without having to pay royalties for further use. After paying the initial fee, you can use the image as many times as you wish without having to pay for the photo again.
Do I own the downloaded image?
No. Lencynphotos maintains the copyrights on all downloaded images. Copyrights do not transfer with downloaded images. You cannot falsely represent that you are the original creator of the image.
